LUKE Williams struck a double to end Hayes and Yeading's dismal run of seven league games without a win tonight.
Nas Bashir's men were helped by the 32nd minute sending off for Braintree's Jai Reason, but they marched to an emphatic win in Essex with Williams leading the charge.
Tom Collins set-up Williams for the opener 10 minutes after the break and Collins helped himself to number two just after the hour with a fine finish from outside the area.
Williams put the icing on the cake for Hayes and Yeading with a third two minutes from the end of a match that saw goalkeeper Jamie Beasant, son of former Wimbledon FA Cup hero Dave, keep a clean sheet on his debut.
