HAYES and Yeading have drafted in goalkeeper Jamie Beasant for tonight's Blue Square Premier match at Braintree Town.

Ex-Watford trainee Beasant, who is at the Glenn Hoddle Academy, has been brought in for the trip to Essex as Carl Pentney is still injured.

The 22-year-old is the son of former Wimbledon hero Dave Beasant, who famously became the first goalkeeper to save a penalty in an FA Cup final when he denied Liverpool's John Aldridge in 1988.

Hayes and Yeading bid to end a run of seven league matches without a win tonight against a Braintree Town side that have themselves slipped down the table after a bright start to the season.

Ex-Hayes and Yeading midfielder Andy Yiadom was among the goals in a 2-1 win for Braintree in the reverse fixture at Kingfield earlier this season.
