LUKE Medley is set to become Hayes & Yeading’s fourth new arrival of the summer after a deal was agreed in principle for the former Bradford City striker.
United manager Phil Babb has already tied up deals for defenders Tom Bird and Szymon Sidorowicz and brought in attacking midfielder Stefan Cox.
Medley will be number four once the formalities of his registration are sorted following director of football Tony O’Driscoll’s return from holiday.
United are hoping Medley, a powerful forward, can fill the boots of last season’s top scorer Kudus Oyenuga, who has been allowed to leave the club.
Medley came through the ranks at Welwyn Garden City, Barnet and Tottenham before making his professional debut with the Bantams in 2007.
The striker had his Kidderminster Harriers contract cancelled by mutual consent in February 2012 and was most recently playing for Bromley.
