Harefield beat Chesham by eight wickets
TWO Harefield batsmen hit half-centuries as they cruised to victory against Chesham on Saturday.
Richard McLeod made an unbeaten 80, while Peter Lynch posted 53 not out to lead them home.
Tight bowling from Muleki Nkala (3-39) and Akshay Reddy (4-33) had restricted Chesham to 165 all out.
In reply, Harefield were rarely in trouble, with veteran opener McLeod hitting 11 fours in his haul as Harefield cruised to an eight-wicket win.
Meanwhile, the second string suffered a heavy defeat at Gerrards Cross.
Put in to bat first, the visitors ended on 172-8 in 52 overs. However, the hosts eased to the total with six wickets to spare.
