Three golds apiece for Tariq Miller and Melako Coker rounded off another great medal haul for Ealing Swimming Club at the third weekend of the Middlesex Age Group Championships.

The club claimed 17 goals in all - with plenty of silvers and bronzes along the way.

Miller won the over 17s 100m backstroke (with Kyle Barrett second and Joao Matias third) and the 100m medley, where Joao was second and Dan Crawford third.

He was also first in the 200m medley and his time of 58.46 in the 100m medley was a new club record.

All this was good preparation for the British Championships in which Miller is competing this week along with seven other of the club's senior swimmers.

Coker won his gold medals in the 100m backstroke, 100m medley and 100m freestyle and also picked up a silver in the 200m medley and bronze in the 400m freestyle.

Eamon Haroun won the 12 years 100m and 200m freestyle with Rohan Singh taking the silver in both races. Haroun also came second in the 100m butterfly.

Also bathed in medals was Polly Kemp-King, who took the 16-years 400m freestyle, came second in the 100m freestyle and third in the 100m and 200m medley.

Ramsey Haroun won the 16-years 100m backstroke and came second in the 200m event and by Ed Howard won the 100m freestyle and came second in the 400m freestyle.

In the over-17s age group, Connor Barrett won the 100m freestyle with Joao Matias second and brother Kyle third. Connor was also second in the 200m medley while Kyle made his mark in the 200m backstroke, finishing first.

Katie Simms won the 100m medley, and was second in the 200m race and the 100m freestyle. Alex Bandarian won the 100m butterfly, and was third in the 100m and 400m medley.

Ade Coker won the 12-years 100m medley, while Lucy Thornton won the 100m medley for the 10-year-old girls.

Tom Brommage gained silver medals in the 100m medley and 200m freestyle and bronze medals were won by Aaron Pullen (100m medley and 200m freestyle), Ellie Price (200m backstroke), Sebastien Bordonnat (100m freestyle), Maisie Jameson (200m freestyle) and Sian McDonnell (100m medley).

In addition to the medals, there were a large number of finals places and top eight rankings. Swimmers who gained these included Amirah Miller (five events), Charlotte Fairclough and Georgia Watt (four events), Francesca Garland (three events), Naima Camara and Omar Haroun (two events), Hannah Cierebiej-Jeffery, Bethan Hall Jones and Cristian Rotundo.

After a highly successful county championships, the next big target for most of the Gurnell-based squad will be the London Region Championships, which start in May.
