MIDDLESEX play Sussex in an Inter-County U25s match at Wealdstone Bowls Club on Sunday, June 28. The game starts at 10am and spectators are welcome.
Meanwhile, Wealdstone enjoyed some favourable results last week. In the Vets League they thrashed Hendon 62-29, winning all three rinks 25-13 (Tony Howard), 15-6 (Fred Williams) and 22-10 (Bob Hazzard).
In the Middlesex League the club edged past Uxbridge 56-5,3 with Fred Williams the only one to secure a winning rink (21-15). Richard Kirk lost 20-23 while David Steele drew 15-15.
The Ladies lost 28-39 to their Uxbridge counterparts, with Pam Jarvis (12-18) and Marilyn Hazzard (16-21) representing.
Wealdstone secured four of six rinks to see off Chesham 118-90 in another game. The winning rinks went to Colin King (26-7), Wally Brown (16-15), Alan Wiltshire (19-15) and Richard Kirk (25-13). Pam Jarvis (13-17) and Mick O'Grady (19-23) lost their games.
