QPR striker Rowan Vine has joined Gillingham on loan for the rest of the season.
The frontman is surplus to requirements at Loftus Road after failing to make their 25-man squad.
Vine recently went on trial at League Two Southend United, only for the move to fall through due to doubts over his fitness.
But he has now agreed a deal with play-off chasers Gillingham for the remainder of the campaign.
Meanwhile, winger Hogan Ephraim i s set to follow Vine out of W12, and looks poised to join Championship outfit Bristol City on an emergency loan deal.
