DJIBRIL Cissé insists he is staying at QPR – even if Rangers are relegated.

The former Liverpool, Lazio and Panathinaikos frontman has scored five goals in seven games since his January move to Loftus Road .

Mark Hughes's men head into Sunday's showdown at Manchester City needing a point to secure Premier League survival.

But Cisse has made it plain he is going nowhere whatever happens at the Etihad Stadium on the weekend.

“I have to be loyal to the club and chairman Tony (Fernandes)," he said. "They gave me the chance to show what I can do at QPR, and you have to pay people back – even if it’s in the Championship.”
