ONE of Wealdstone’s biggest Twitter fans revealed he will use the social networking site to prepare for his battle with Richard Jolly on Saturday.

Just two weeks ago Jolly was scoring for fun in a loan spell at Stones with Wes Parker as his team-mate.

However, Parker and co now face the prospect of stopping the goalscoring juggernaut when he visits Grosvenor Vale with league leaders and parent club Sutton United.

Parker has massive respect for the former Wealdstone legend, so plans to make a ‘deal’ via Tweets with Jolly prior to Saturday’s action.

He joked: "I’ll have to do some negotiating on Twitter with him - I’ll tell him not to score and I won’t kick him.

"He is going to be a handful because he is a great player. We know what he’s all about so I’ll probably kick him early and stop him doing that."

Stones go into the clash on a run of eight games without defeat which have seen them glean 20 points.

However, their poor early season form means they are still playing catch-up in their bid for a place in the end of season play-offs.

The 26-year-old defender admits there is very little wriggle room for Bartlett’s men, whose game with the U’s is followed 48 hours later by another home clash with fellow play-off contenders Tonbridge - a game Parker knows is a real six-pointer.

He added: "I think Sutton are more or less home now anyway, but I think we have a few more crunch games against teams up there like Tonbridge, so if we carry on winning we stand every chance.

"To be honest we have started this run a bit late. This should have started three or four months earlier.

"But we look on the up and if we do manage to make the play-offs we are going to be the form team and that can only bode well."
