WEALDSTONE travel to Sutton United on Saturday hoping for a repeat of their earlier Ryman Premier meeting.

Gordon Bartlett's men crushed them 4-0 at the start of September, their biggest league win of the season so far, and barring any fresh injury concerns Stones should be chomping at the bit to return to action this weekend after last week-end's washout.

The game against Ashford Town was postponed after heavy downpours left large areas of the Grosvenor Vale pitch underwater.

As the Observer went to press on Tuesday Wealdstone were due to play their rearranged Middlesex Senior Cup match at home to Wembley and several first teamers were expected to be given a taste of the action to keep them fit and fresh ahead of Saturday's league duties.

The scorers against Sutton in the reverse fixture, Alan Massey (2), Ryan Ashe and Lee Chappell are all expected to start this weekend. Ashe has shrugged off a knock while Chappell could continue as skipper if James Gray has not recovered fully from bruised ribs.
