SOUTHAMPTON are planning a summer raid for Brentford left-back Ryan Dickson .

The Chronicle can confirm the Saints have shown firm interest in the former Plymouth Argyle flyer, who is set to leave Griffin Park in the summer after turning down a new deal.

They are one of SIX clubs tracking the 23-year-old, with interest from the Championship and SPL.

The Bees are entitled to compensation should Dickson leave TW8.
