HARROW Athletic Club maintained their place in the Youth Development League Upper Southern Premier Division with a solid performance in the final round at Tonbridge on Sunday.

Star of the show was English Schools Champion Luke Roach-Christie, who took the U20 shot with 15.98m and also placed second in the discus. 

Shane McDonald made a great debut, taking second spot in the high jump with 1.90m and also scoring good points in the pole vault and long jump.

The best performances on the track came from Eugenie Brown who took the U20 100m in a sparkling 12.57 and set a new PB of 25.26 for the 200m.

Laura Aregbe enjoyed a winning double in the U17 sprints, taking the 100m in 12.79 and the 200m in 26.24.
