SIMON Moore has vowed to fill the void left by crocked keeper Richard Lee .

The Brentford shotstopper suffered a shoulder injury in Saturday's win against Leyton Orient, and the Bees are due to discover the full extent of the problem later today.

Boss Nicky Forster still has the option of bringing in a replacement on loan if the injury proves proves to be serious, but Moore, who came off the bench to help Brentford to a 2-1 win against the O's, insists he's ready to step up to the plate.

He said: "If I get a chance I'm ready to take it.

"I've been working hard to get an opportunity and now hopefully I can keep the shirt until Rich is back.

"He has been absolutely fantastic for us this season, and our best player. I hope he has a speedy recovery."
