SAM Saunders is winning his fitness fight to line up against former club Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday.
The 27-year-old has been sidelined since the victory at Southampton earlier this month with a hamstring injury, but returned to training this week ahead of the New Year's Day clash at Griffin Park.
Saunders made more than 100 appearances during a four-year spell with the Daggers before making the switch across the capital with team-mates Danny Foster and Ben Strevens.
Meanwhile, Myles Weston should also be fit as Brentford look to continue their push up the table.
The former Notts County flyer has been injured for the past month but stepped up his recovery at Jersey Road this week.
