UWE Rosler hailed Brentford's never-say-die attitude after they came from behind to earn a late point at Gillingham.

Substitute Farid El Alagui equalised deep into stoppage-time to cancel out Bayo Akinfenwa's first-half opener.

“It was good to come back so late on,” said Bees boss Rosler.

“We deserved it. We had 20 attempts – nine on target – but the disappointing thing for me was the goal we conceded when we were on top.

“We panicked a little bit in the second half and lacked some leadership.

“But we kept on going to the end and scored in the last minute again.

“We have to play better.”
