UWE Rosler reckons Brentford put in their best performance of the season in tonight's draw with Colchester.

The Bees were denied a deserved victory after Anthony Wordsworth earned the visitors a point with an injury-time leveller to cancel out Clayton Donaldson's opener.

But boss Rosler insists the result didn't dampen his mood after watching the hosts play Colchester off the park.

He said: “I'm not disappointed because today was about the performance. We're not looking at the league table because it's far too early.

“We had 11 performers and the first-half we played absolutely magnificent football – the best we've played – both offensively and defensively.

“We got the goal in the second-half and everything was going to plan. We lost two points in the end but I'm very happy.”
