THE memory of last season's humbling at Bramall Lane will drive on Brentford boss Uwe Rosler on Saturday.
In only his second full game in charge of the Bees, Rosler's side were second best in all departments as they went down 2-0 at Sheffield United in their first away game of last season.
Brentford return to Bramall Lane for the first time since in Saturday's early kick off, and Rosler wants to put a few things right.
He said: “In want us to show the progress we have made since last year's game at Bramall Lane. We are not like we are when we lost there last year, and I want us to show how far we have come.”
Brentford go into the game second in League One but just two points ahead of Sheffield United, who have a game in hand.
Rosler admitted he would rather be in the chasing pack for now. Last time his side hit the top two, after a 2-1 win at Notts County in December, they only won three of their next 10 league games and plummeted down to seventh.
He added: “We have gone second too early, we are there to be shot at now.”
