UWE Rosler admits he may have to make a late dip into the transfer market with Brentford's injury list growing by the week.

Conor McAleny joined Will Grigg and Jake Bidwell on the treatment table after suffering a horror injury in the 1-0 win over Walsall.

The trio have thrown Rosler's early-season plans out the window, and having previously stated he was ready to shut up shop, the Bees chief may have to alter his approach.

He said: “In one or two positions, seeing the seriousness of the injuries, I think we will have to consider [dipping into the transfer market].

“With the length of how long the players will be away, I think we do have to. We are stretched already, after four games.

“I'm very happy with the squad but now our circumstances are that we've lost a few on the long-term, not just the short-term.”
