BRENTFORD boss Uwe Rosler insists star striker Clayton Donaldson is not for sale.
Millwall, Barnsley, Wolves and Bournemouth have reportedly expressed an interest in the former Crewe frontman, while MLS duo DC United and Houston Dynamo have also been linked with a move.
Rosler revealed they have received enquiries for Donaldson, who smashed 24 goals last season.
However, the Bees chief says the 29-year-old is staying put at Griffin Park.
“There's been some phone calls but we haven't had one official bid,” said Rosler.
“After the calls we had regarding Clayton it was clear that he will be going nowhere.”
Donaldson is entering the final 12 months of his contract in TW8 after arriving on a three-year deal from Crewe in 2011.
And Rosler says the Bees will wait until the new campaign is underway before starting negotiations.
“He did very well last year and if he has a decent start to the season we will talk to him,” the German manager added.
“It's the last year of his contract and if he can repeat what he's done in the last two seasons I'm sure we will offer him another one.”
