ROBBIE Simpson could be fit for next month's JPT final.
The on-loan Huddersfield Town hotshot damaged ankle ligaments in training last week, leaving him on crutches wearing a protective boot.
But scan results have shown the injury isn't as bad as first feared, and the 26-year-old had a painkilling injection in Leicester on Friday to help his recovery.
Simmo isn't expected to train next week, but it's hopeful he will be able to return to sessions at Jersey Road ahead of the Wembley date on April 3.
Meanwhile, Sam Saunders (ankle) and Pim Balkestein (groin) should be available for selection next week.
