MARK Harper has encouraged QPR to come forward with an offer for Hampton & Richmond Borough defender Dean Inman.

The Beavers rookie, who has had several trials with the Premiership club since the summer, played a third game for QPR reserves against a Spurs second string this week.

And despite the prospect of losing one of his rising stars, the Hampton boss is keen to get Inman's future sorted out, along with that of Dan Thompson, who has been on trial with Stoke City and Crystal Palace.

Harper said: “Deano has played three games for QPR, so we're looking for them to make a decision on his now really.

“Dan was with Crystal Palace at the start of this week, and finished the week with QPR – his agent is trying to get him round as many clubs as possible.

“But both are still in my plans for Saturday, and will remain in my plans until I get an offer on the table."

Hampton went down 1-0 at Tonbridge Angels on Saturday, to a last-minute penalty for a push by Paul Johnson, whose red card will lead to a three-game ban.

The game saw a debut for on-loan QPR striker Marcel Henry-Francis, who Hampton have been told, like Bradley Simmonds, they can keep until he is required for reserve duty at Loftus Road.

Harper said: “For someone so young, Marcel has the full package. He worked hard and brought some energy to the frontline.”
