NEIL Warnock has praised Harrow Borough boss David Howell after completing the signing of Troy Hewitt.

The 21-year-old striker has finally put pen to paper on a two-and-half-year contract with the Championship leaders.

Hitman Hewitt bagged 20 goals in his debut season in the Ryman Premier, prompting a move into the pro game.

And QPR manager Warnock paid tribute to his Earlsmead counterpart after wrapping up the deal.

He told the official site: "Troy is definitely worth a shout. He's got a great eye for goal and a really good attitude.

"David Howell deserves a lot of credit for the way he's developed."
