NEIL WARNOCK has pledged to set up his team to follow Blackpool's example when they tackle the Premier League next season.

Ian Holloway's Tangerines are still in with a shout of surviving a debut season in the top flight against the odds – mainly through a positive attacking attitude – and the QPR boss aims to do the same.

“It's not all about finances. Blackpool have more than held their own, although I haven't got a clue how Ian's done it, because he's not paid transfer fees out and he's not paid wages out.

“I'd love him to stay up because that is a miracle.

“But they've gone about it in the right way and if anything, I think that's educated me. Because you haven't got to fear teams and definitely I will have a go, like them.

"You can have a go and get beaten by six, but I'm not going to go there and get depressed.

“I used to go places and see if we could just keep the score down. I don't want to get battered anywhere but I want to enjoy it and I want my lads to enjoy it.”

Warnock added: “It's the hardest league in the world to stay up and I'm looking forward to putting a team together and having a go.

Loftus Road won't be an easy venue for people next season, I'm sure we'll give a good account of ourselves and enjoy it.”
