ANTON Ferdinand has given evidence to the Football Association over the clash with John Terry in last week's west London derby win against Chelsea.

The FA are investigating accusations that the QPR defender was racially abused by the Chelsea and England captain during the 1-0 victory at Loftus Road .

A statement released by the club on behalf of the player said: “I have very strong feelings on the matter, but in the interests of fairness and not wishing to prejudice what I am sure will be a very thorough enquiry by the FA, this will be my last comment on the subject until the enquiry is concluded.

“I would like to thank the club, Tony Fernandes, Amit Bhatia, Neil Warnock , the supporters and my fellow professionals for their unwavering support.”
