NEIL Warnock will hold talks with QPR owner Tony Fernandes this week to discuss his January transfer plans.

The Rangers boss wants to bring in up to SIX players when the window re-opens in the new year.

Nedum Onouha and Jermain Defoe are believed to be two of his targets, and Warnock will speak to Fernandes in the seven days to talk about the club's transfer strategy.

“We're looking at top players to bring in,” said Warnock. “We need four, five even six players in January to supplement the squad.

“While we're talking about a list, that can change over the next few weeks because there will be players you never even thought of that might become available as clubs look to chop and change.

“I'll be talking more about the squad next week as I've got one or two ideas myself what I would like to do with the 25-man squad.”
