BRADLEY Pritchard scored against his old club to help Hayes & Yeading boost their survival hopes at Tamworth today.
Pritchard (pictured) shrugged off a midweek knock to spark Garry Haylock's men into action with the opening strike - his 10th of the season - in the 14th minute after he latched onto a cross from Adam Green.
In an evenly-contested first-half, Tamworth drew level in the 32nd minute though when Kyle Perry followed up his own penalty that was well saved by Hayes & Yeading goalkeeper Delroy Preddie to equalise from the rebound.
The visitors were back in front though four minutes into the second-half through a penalty of their own.
Referee Richard West pointed to the spot for a second time when Jay Smith handled a Peter Holmes free-kick and Lee Brown held his nerve to score the penalty.
Substitute Elliott Buchanan effectively settled it with a fine finish from another Green cross and another Perry strike in injury-time came too late to save Tamworth.
Hayes & Yeading are now fourth from bottom in the Blue Square Premier, but are only in the relegation zone due to goal difference as they are one of four clubs on 36 points.
