ONE of very few bright spots for Brentford on Saturday were decent displays by the two Bees making their debuts.

There was very little for Bees fans to cheer as their side were dumped out of the FA Cup by Conference leaders Wrexham.

But on-loan Southampton centre-back Harlee Dean did little wrong at the back, while development squad player Manny Oyeleke showed some nice touches when he came on at half-time.

Bees boss Uwe Rosler said: “I am very pleased with Harlee's debut, he was solid, and outstanding in the second half.

“All credit to Manny too when he came on. Normally, I like to blood an 18 year old when the team is doing well, but I threw him on because offensively, I felt he gave us something different.

“I threw him in at the deep end, and he swam very well.”
