KEVIN O'Connor will make his long-awaited return from injury in Monday's development game with Charlton Athletic.

The Brentford skipper hasn't featured since suffering an ankle injury in the win against Portsmouth four months ago.

However, the 31-year-old is back in full training and has been pencilled in to make his comeback against the Addicks.

Striker Faird El Alagui is also expected to feature, as he steps up his recovery from a serious knee injury.

The former Falkirk frontman hasn't played since the win against Crawley at the beginning of October following his summer move to west London.

However, the Moroccan is in line to get his first minutes against Charlton at the club's Jersey Road training base.
