BOSS Andy Scott insists he's had no contact from Wycombe Wanderers about Brentford defender Alan Bennett .

Chairboys chief Garry Waddock said any move for the Irishman was on hold while he waited on the fitness of centre-back Adam Hinshelwood.

But the Wanderers defender announced his retirement this week following a serious injury, clearing the decks for Waddock to make a bid for Benno, who has a year left on his contract at Griffin Park .

However, Scott says they've had no contact from the League Two club.

He said: "We had a couple [of players] go that way but I haven't spoken to Garry all summer.

"We'll see what happens with that."

Nikki Bull, Danny Foster and Ben Strevens have already made the switch to Adams Park, while Mark Phillips , who was released by the Bees, is on trial.
