MALVIN Kamara insists there is no time for fear if Hampton & Richmond Borough are to launch one final play-off bid.

The former Wimbledon and Huddersfield full-back concedes successive goal-less draws with Hastings and Met Police have left his side's promotion hopes hanging by a thread as they fall further adrift of the Ryman Premier play-off pack.

The fixture list too is set to do them no favours either as tomorrow’s home game with Enfield is the prelude to games against four of the division’s top five over the rest of this month, starting with Concord Rangers 'visit to the Beveree on Tuesday night.

But Kamara urged his team-mates to face the challenge head on, saying: “We are coming to the cut-off point where hopes of promotion will be gone, but we are not there yet.

“You have to strive for something, and with the players we have got we would be doing ourselves a disservice if we did not give it a last push.

“I don’t fear any of the top teams. When we lost 3-2 at Wealdstone we battered them until they scored a freak goal.

“That knocked the stuffing out of us a bit, and now we face a big mental challenge, but it is one I relish.”
