LIONEL Ainsworth has left Brentford after his bust-up with boss Andy Scott .
The on-loan Huddersfield Town winger stormed off down the tunnel after being subbed in Saturday's draw with Yeovil, with Bees boss Scott insisting the 22-year-old would never play for the first team again at Griffin Park.
Ainsworth had a run-out for the reserves on Monday, and planned to apologise to his manager and team-mates at training the following day.
But he has been told there's no chance of a reprieve by Scott, and has returned to Hudddersfield instead.
"He didn't tell me personally," said Ainsworth.
"I got a call from my agent after the reserve game on Monday to say they didn't want me back, so I didn't have a chance to apologise in person.
"I'm going to go back to Huddersfield now and get my head down."
Ainsworth made a solitary start in his half-season long loan at Griffin Park , and accused Scott of not giving him a fair crack of the whip.
He added: "I came to Brentford to play games, but I made just one start, and that was with three games left.
"It's not enough, and I don't know why he didn't pick me."
