ANDY Murray sealed his place in the last four of the AEGON Championships with a hard-fought win over American Mardy Fish.

The 22-year-old top seed produced a fine performance to win 7-5, 6-3 in just over an hour.

He meets Juan Carlos Ferrero after the Spainard's three-set win over Belgian Steve Darcis.

In the other half of the draw, Andy Roddick won the battle of the big servers as he came through two tie-break sets with giant Croatian Ivo Karlovic.

The number two seed will meet fellow American James Blake for a place in the final after he beat Mikhail Youzhny in straight sets.
