MALCOLM Munro – fresh from success at the British Masters championships last month – teamed up with members of Barnes Swimming Club to smash the British record in the 4x200m freestyle relay.
The Acton swimmer’s team broke the old record for a combined age team of 240 by an amazing 10 seconds at the Barnet Copthall.
Munro, 66, is now in hard training for the next major competition which will be the British short course championships in Sheffield at the end of October.
