HAYES & Yeading midfielder James Mulley could be heading towards the exit door at Church Road after he failed to agree a deal with the club.

The 21-year-old central midfielder's future with Hayes hangs in the balance, according to manager Garry Haylock.

“He had no contract last year and we have not agreed a deal with him,” he said. “You will have to ask him about it.”

Meanwhile, Haylock has insisted that Esmond James is still a part of his plans, despite the midfielder's long injury lay-off.

James had an operation last week after suffering cruciate ligament damage at the end of last season and he is not expected to be back until March, 2011.
