CHRIS Churchman finished just shy of a double ton as NPL Teddington Seconds beat British Airways Seconds by 56 runs on Saturday.

Opener Churchman set a personal best with a mammoth 177 as NPL declared on 293-5 in the Thames Valley League Division 5B clash.

NPL then bowled BA out for 237, with skipper Neil Bunting taking 5-23.

NPL Firsts lost by 53 runs to Cove after being skittled for a paltry 77, while the Thirds went down by two wickets to Ruislip, despite Dave Merchant Snr taking 4-28.

NATHAN Pearce took 5-59 as Kew thrashed Tring Park Seconds by nine wickets on Saturday.

Pearce and Kew skittled Tring for 106 before reaching the total for the loss of just one wicket, in Thames Valley League Division One.

Gareth Simmonds hit an unbeaten 59 as Teddington Town beat Chenies & Latimer by five wickets in Division 3B.

A brilliant bowling spell of 7-63 by Rob Fullicks was not enough for Hampton Hill in Division 4A, as Hill's batsmen capitulated to 71 all out to lose by 116 runs away to Wooburn Narkovians.
