BRENTFORD boss Uwe Rosler has decided to show the door to experienced midfielder Marcus Bean .

The former QPR man confirmed he has left Griffin Park after four years in TW8 following his switch from Blackpool in 2008.

Bean made 168 appearances in red and white, scoring 15 goals, and was an integral member of the League Two title-winning side in 2009.

The 27-year-old played 37 times under Uwe Rosler this season, but the new Bees boss has decided not to retain his services for next campaign.

Bean tweeted: “My time at Brentford has come to an end. Been great period in my life [and] wish club every success.

“Would like to thank all the supporters who made me feel welcome and made me feel at home. Some great memories with some great people!”

Karleigh Osborne and Sam Wood are expected to follow Bean out of the exit door when the released list in the next few days.
