MARK Hughes has vowed QPR will never be involved in a relegation battle again while he's in charge at Loftus Road .
Rangers secured Premier League survival despite a nail-biting final-day defeat at Manchester City on Sunday, with the Blues scoring twice in stoppage-time to snatch the title.
However, Bolton could only draw at Stoke, which meant the result at the Etihad didn't matter as the R's finished a point above the drop zone.
But Hughes, who took over in W12 in January, insists QPR won't be looking over their shoulders next season.
He said: “I'm really happy for everyone at the club because, as far as I'm concerned, we will never be in this situation again while I am manager.
"We've crossed a bridge that looked too far for us. Since I've come in it's been difficult but we've kept at it and we've got our reward."
