Osterley Judo club helped Hounslow land seven judo medals at the London Youth Games at the weekend.
Osterley provided eight of the 10-strong Hounslow team which ended up 13th in the judo standings – up by three places on last year.
Alexandra Pudlo landed gold after winning all her contests in a very quick time, while Olaf Rusnak was very unlucky not to have won the gold, along with Niamh Corrigan.
They settled for silver, as did Tomasz Stanczyk and Daniel Childs, while Nathan Mensah and Luka Kljutic took home bronze.
Nathan Childs just missed out on the medal hunt with a fifth place finish, while Daniel Golaszewski and Martin Mazikas put in a good effort too.
Hounslow’s hope for next year is to field a larger team, as some boroughs had up to 30 players, meaning they won more points.
