BRENTFORD are set to hand a new deal to defender Shaleum Logan .

The former Manchester City right-back failed to reach the number of appearances to trigger the option of an extra year in his contract.

However, Bees boss Uwe Rosler looks poised to offer the 23-year-old the chance to stay at Griffin Park.

Logan said: “I'm going to speak to the manager on Monday, but the indication I've got from my agent is that he wants to keep me.

“I want to stay. I've enjoyed it and feel I bring a lot to the team.”
