STRIKER Adrian Patulea has refused to rule out a January return to Church Road after completing his loan spell at Hayes & Yeading.

The Leyton Orient striker will now go back to his League One club after an injury-plagued three-month stint with Garry Haylock's men.

Patulea says that Hayes & Yeading's fans have not seen the best of him – and he admitted he would be interested in a second spell at Church Road when the January transfer window opens.

“You never know – it is a possibility,” he said. “I have enjoyed myself at Hayes & Yeading as I have been involved in the games when I have been fit. We pass the ball well and play in a style that every striker likes.

“There have been some key moments here that I have had to come back from. I got a red card and then when I started to score goals I got injured. So I did not prove myself as I would have liked to. I did not play to my highest level if I am honest.”

Patulea at least marked his final appearance of his loan spell with a goal in last night's victory over Eastbourne Borough and he admitted that his team-mates were relieved to end their six-match losing run.

“I am happy as Hayes & Yeading really needed the three points,” he added. “We have not had a good run lately, we have been playing well but losing the points in most of the games.

“Tonight we proved that if we pass the ball well and concentrate then we can win a lot of games.”

Boss Haylock is now short of forward options with Michael Malcolm having also completed his three-month loan spell and returned to Crawley.
