BRENTFORD will send keeper Lewis Price back to Derby in January – if the Rams will have him.

Price (pictured) didn’t even make the bench for last night’s 1-0 win over Colchester at Griffin Park, while fellow loanee Wojciech Szczesny has starred for the Bees since joining from Arsenal last month.

Boss Andy Scott should also have the injured Nikki Bull back by Christmas, while rookie Simon Moore has played his way into contention as a back-up.

Scott said: “Lewis Price wasn’t on the bench tonight because we are only allowed five loan players.

“He is on a season-long loan, and Derby have the option of taking him back in January, so we’ll see what they want to do.

"We’ll assess our loans when we get through December.

“Wojciech is loving it here. He has only played a couple of league games in his career but doesn’t look fazed at all, and that is the sign of a top class player.

“He is relishing every moment and has the ability to inspire those around him. It is great to have him around the place.

“We’ll speak to Arsenal and see what they want to do. We’ll do our very best to keep him, and hopefully he’ll be with us for a bit longer.”
