KARLE Andrews has urged his Hampton & Richmond Borough team-mates to finish the job when they replay against East Thurrock United tomorrow night.

Hampton were fortunate to get a second bite of the cherry against the Ryman League side in the FA Trophy second round tie after the Essex men hit the woodwork twice and missed a whole host of simple chances in Saturday's 1-1 draw.

But with home advantage at Beveree in the replay, midfielder Andrews is confident they can finish the job and book a third round place.

He said: “We didn't turn up on Saturday, and to be honest, we are a bit lucky to still be in the tie as Thurrock were a bit wasteful with their finishing.

“But we should finish the job at home. They have had their chance, and we have had our warning. It was another potential banana skin, and we have to make sure we do better in the replay.”
