KIRK Hudson has returned to AFC Wimbledon after recovering from a groin injury.

The on-loan Brentford winger suffered a recurrence of the problem which ruled him out for eight weeks earlier this season.

Hudson returned to Griffin Park for a treatment, but is now back at Kingsmeadow ahead of Saturday's trip to Tamworth.

Dons boss Terry Brown said: "I thought we might be without Kirk for the rest of the season.

"But a painkilling injection seems to have done the trick, and he trained on Tuesday without any reaction."

Hudson has made six appearances for the Blue Square Premier leaders, scoring one goal, since joining on a five-month loan in January.
