RICHARD Lee insists he's ready to grab his chance with both hands if he's restored to Brentford's starting XI.

The former Watford keeper has been forced to warm the bench in recent weeks after losing his spot to youngster Simon Moore .

But Lee, who featured for the development squad in their 2-0 defeat to West Ham yesterday, says he's prepared to wait for his opportunity to regain the shirt.

He said: “You want to play but I was ill for a couple of games, then Si has come in and done great.

“The manager has spoken to us both. We both want to play but the manager has given his reasons and you respect that.

“I'm keen to play and if the chance comes again I'll be ready.”
