BRENTFORD have received enquiries from two clubs for transfer-listed defender Craig Woodman .

Exeter City and a rival League One outfit have shown an interest in the 29-year-old, who still has 12 months to run on his contract at Griffin Park .

The Chronicle revealed last month that the former Wycombe Wanderers full-back was deemed surplus to requirements by boss Uwe Rosler after finding himself stuck behind Everton youngster Jake Bidwell for much of last season.

“There is interest from two clubs but I have not spoken to Craig about this,” said Rosler.

“His agent is in dialogue with other clubs so we'll see how things develop.

“He's a competent left-back who is proven at this level, but wants to play week in, week out. I can't guarantee him that at the moment.”

Rosler is still keen to bring Bidwell back to the Bees next season, but must wait to see what David Moyes has planned for the talented teenager.
