Grigor Dimitrov was crowned the new Aegon Championships champion after edging a thrilling final with Feliciano Lopez on Sunday.

The Bulgarian fourth seed triumphed 6-7, 7-6, 7-6 at Queen's in front of girlfriend Maria Sharapova, who was watching on from the stands.

It was a diappointing week for Andy Murray, whose Wimbledon preparations took a blow after losing his third round clash to Radek Stepanek.

Second seed Tomas Berdych was also an early casualty, while favourite Stan Wawrinka lost in the semi-finals to eventual winner Dimitrov.
