GAVIN Hoyte has returned to Arsenal after the completion of his loan spell at AFC Wimbledon.
The defender started back-to-back games for the Dons after making the switch to Kingsmeadow at the beginning of last month, only to lose his place in the team to Sam Hatton.
Hoyte was left kicking his heels on the sidelines but did come off the bench in Saturday's dramatic draw at Crewe.
The 21-year-old had told the Chronicle last week that he would be willing to extend his stay at the League Two club, but he has now returned to the Emirates.
