SAIDO Berahino admits his home debut for Brentford was a dream come true.

The West Brom striker came off the bench to bag a brace in last night's 4-0 demolition of Carlisle in front of the Sky TV cameras.

And the youngster, who also had a successful spell with Northampton earlier this season, is determined to prove himself in League One.

He said: "It was a dream (home) debut to be honest. I never thought that would happen when I came on!

"I just wanted to try and do well for the team, so to score two goals, win the game and keep a clean sheet is great.

"The quality of play at this level is much better but I'm confident I can make the step up.

"People want to pick a pass rather than launch the ball forward, so I'm happy I'm playing in a good team at the moment."
