The opposition net at PHC Chiswick games took a fearful pounding this week.

A brace from seconds captain Warren Ellerbeck was too much for Wimbledon. Neil Jones and finish of the day from Dr Andrew Greenhalgh, plus a man of the match performance from Rory Edwards finished off the job for a 4-1 win.

PHC Chiswick sit top of London Division Four with a perfect six from six record and  wins a goal difference of plus 19.

Meanwhile, the women’s fourths pounded Southgate 8-0.

Georgie Wilson scored two in a minute, and completed her hat-trick a minute before the break

Sophie Green made a brilliant drive into the D and Gemma McIntosh provided the final touch for 4-0 before getting her second.

Wilson scored two more and McIntosh also completed her hat-trick although player of the game went to Alex Joss.

The women in the sixth side at the Linford Christie Centre sadly lost out 1-0 to Staines, although it could have been more without the heroics of player-coach (and player for the game) Norma Bonnell and keeper Nikki Redding.
