Eastcote Hockey Club's men remain in the chase for the MBBO Regional 1 championship after recording two victories in this weekends double header.

The side won 6-1 away to Maidenhead on the Saturday before hosting Wycombe in the second fixture of the weekend, dispatching them 4-1.

Saturday's fixture saw Eascote start the better side and break the deadlock through Alex Coyle.

Going behind shook the home side to life who soon equalised before taking the lead early in the second half.

Eastcote hit back through a double from David Cooper and one each from Alex Stobbart and Richard Ripper to record a decent victory without playing their best.

The side may have expected a tougher match against Wycombe who sit just one place below them in the table, but eased to a 4-1 victory with an excellent second half performance.

Cooper opened the scoring before the visitors equalised, Cooper secured his hat-trick with two second half goals before Mark Defanis added the fourth to complete the scoring.

The 2nd team also earned six points over the weekend with a narrow 4-3 victory against West Hampstead on Saturday and a 4-0 thrashing at Wokingham on the Sunday.

Saturday's goals came from an Ian Sadler doubler and one each from Daniel O'Sullivan and Jimmy Thomas, while Gabriel Emery, Scott Reed and a brace from Kern Sorzano made up the scoring on Sunday.

Promotion remains a distinct possibility for the 3rds as they beat Slough 5-1 thanks to an Andy Innes hat-trick and goals from Scott Reed and Kushal Sohal.

A 9-1 win saw the 4ths crowned Champions thanks to a Gurdeep Lota hat-trick , a brace from Jas Nijar and Leighton Buzzard, Jat Chana, Andrew Furlong, Dan Meyrick and Mark Fitzgerald all finding the back of the net.

The 5ths were no match for league leader Ealing Lions as they went down 11-3, while the 6ths beat Milton Keynes 7-2 thanks braces from both Connor Brown and Anil Seedhar as well as goals from Phil Riddleston, Suranga Devamulla & Sam Ogata.

The Eagles beat Tring 2-1 thanks to Ashley Snell and Alan McNair, while the Past Masters went down 2-1 to Bromley & Beckenham despite a Raj Bhadresa goal.

A disappointing weekend saw the Ladies suffer a huge blow in their fight to remain in South Division 2 as they suffered a 6-0 defeat to Epsom.

They now face a must win game against Henley on Saturday.

The Ladies 2's didn't fare much better as they lost 2-1 to Hendon & Mill Hill while the 3rds beat Teddington 2-0 thanks to Anna Tebbs and U14 player Lucy Lavers.

The club celebrated a second league title of the weekend, this time the Ladies 4ths secured the championship with a huge 8-0 win over PHC Chiswick, with hat-tricks from Aisling Wall and Georgie Brace, combined with a Charlotte Hanson brace. The 5ths also won 2-0 against staines with goals from Alex Clarke and U14 Sophia Paraskeva.

Two goals from top scorer Liz Laird and one from Lisa Kinder saw Old Uxonians record victory in their penultimate game of the season against BA Hayes 2s.
